The Carriage House

s he walked up the brick path to the Carriage House he felt a load being lifted off his shoulders. Even though the day had been an overwhelming success, the follow-up he needed to do this evening from his laptop was, well daunting.  Taking a deep breath, the warm glow from the Carriage House gave him a sense of coming home.  As much as he dreaded the hours of work ahead, his cozy, private domain made it palatable. Taking in the aromas from the garden and the nearby kitchen, it was obvious that the chef had been busy. Should he join some of the other guests for a wonderful glass of wine on the front porch? No, he had his very own porch that he just might use to complete the tasks ahead.  Now how to beg the chef for a few of his little creations to get him through the night?
